Biography:
Camila Ymay González is a Chilean theatre director and translator based in London. Her work has been presented at Festival Internacional Santiago a Mil, Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, SPILL Festival, Theatre 503, Tristan Bates and Omnibus Theatre. She is a member of the Out of the Wings Collective. 

She has translated into Spanish Caryl Churchill’s Escaped Alone and Chris Thorpe’s Victory Condition, both supported by the British Council and presented as rehearsed readings at GAM Centre in Santiago. 

Currently, she is working on a translation of Tu Amarás by Chilean playwright Pablo Manzi. Before lockdown, she was working as Assistant Director to Al Smith’s Rare Earth Mettle at the Royal Court.
