Cláudia Barral
Biography:
Cláudia Barral is a psychoanalyst, playwright and actor who has trained at the Theatre School of the Federal University of Bahia (ETUFBA), and works in various fields of literary production as a dramaturg, screenwriter, short story writer and poet.
O Cego e o Louco was the first full-length play written by Barral, winner of the COPENE Award 2000 with a scripted version for TV produced in 2007, and is currently in post-production adapted as a full length film, due for release in 2021. Cordel do Amor Sem Fim was the winner of the Funarte Award 2004 with a version scripted for TV in 2010. O Terceiro Sinal was a play written in commemoration of ETUFBA’s 50th anniversary in 2007.
